New Brunswick's Slow Mo to Energy Production

The Houston based Oil and Gas Journal knows where New Brunswick and Albert-Kings County area are. They are covering this slowly developing potential for natural gas production in New Brunswick as the current news release illustrates.

In a day, when the American oil industry in Montana refer to Alberta ( after which the Province was named from Albertite coal in Albert Mines, Albert County ), as the 800 lb gorilla in the room to our north; this small update on Corrifor Resources and the exploration at Hiram Brook.

We're not in the big time yet, but every little step brings us closer.

HOUSTON, Oct. 17 -- Corridor Resources Inc., Halifax, set production casing after the O-66 well in McCully field near Sussex, NB, penetrated 35 m of net gas pay in the Hiram Brook A and B sands. TD is 2,561 m.

Corridor plans to frac and flow test the O-66 well. Frac stimulation operations have started at the McCully C-67 and G-67 wells. The drilling rig is moving to drill to 2,500 m at the B-58 location.

Two McCully wells have been delivering gas since April 2003. O-66 is the 11th well in the field, which Corridor intends to connect via 30-mile pipeline to the Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline to New Brunswick and US New England markets.
